This is the setting of Leonardo DiCaprio's movie "The Beach." It is a lovely beach with fine white sand, tucked in a picturesque cove on the west side of Phi Phi Le. Unfortunately, it is mobbed by tourists during most daylight hours. Snorkeling here is pretty good but dangerous because of all the longtails and speedboats rushing in and out.
